TaxSlayer ProWeb will automatically populate the Original column of Form 1040-X when creating an amended return if two conditions are met:
The original tax return was e-filed through ProWeb and accepted by the IRS, and
A printed copy of the original return is available.
If either of these conditions is not met, you will need to manually enter the amounts from the original return into Form 1040-X. If you are unsure about which amounts to enter in each field, you can click the "Where is this located?" link above the field to get more information.
