1040-SR (Desktop) | Handheld Scanner

1040-SR supports several methods of scanning. First off, the scanner model supported is Motorola DS6707, but there are a few other scanning methods that the ERO can use, like Desktop Scanner and Selecting a File.

Note: The ERO needs to have a Premium license (Which is what we provide to our clients) to make this feature available. This feature is only available in 1040-SR Desktop Version.

To enable the use of a handheld scanner, from the Quick Menu, select:

• Configuration
  
  

• Configure Premium Options
  
  

• Add an Option to Scan Form W-2 2D Barcodes:
  Change from NO to YES.
