How to Update 1040-SR Desktop

Steps to Update the Software

1. Log in to 1040-SR Desktop with any preparer account.

2. From the main menu, go to #10 Updates.
   
   

   Open

   

    

3. Select #1 Download/Install Updates.
   
   

   Open

   

    

4. Click Check All Needed to select all available updates.
   
   

   Open

   

    

5. Click Download to start the update.

6. Wait for all updates to download and install.
   
   

   Open

   

    

7. Restart the software when prompted.
